Its been a year since I've updated the blog. Wow. I guess that's what happens when you spend more time trying to change the world than blogging! Anywhoooo... here's an update on what's going on in Danville today!
One word - Idealist.
What is it?

What is it NOT?
Antonyms: pragmatist,skeptic, cynic.
Danville Idealist is a concept that emerged from a group of passionate young people sitting down in the same room repeatedly over a period of six months. Basically - we are idealists. We work every day diligently trying to chip away at making Danville the perfect place to live, work, and entertain.
How we do this is not as concrete. Some of us sit on city council, trying to make the best decisions for our citizens. Some of us bring to light very important research. Some of us work to unite communities and neighborhoods. And others of us plan really fun parties for all of Danville to enjoy. As different as these may be, all of us have come together in this concept of idealism, and created the ULTIMATE IDEA CENTER. Located on Main Street, its walls are filled with chalkboards, its tables are dry erase boards, and its people are filled with IDEAS.
Ideas - for a better Danville. Ideas to enhance community development. Ideas to engage our citizens in their community. Ideas which may very well transform Danville into the perfect place to be. We want YOU to get engaged, to be empowered, and to take ownership in your community.
